Brunner Fireplace Set BSK 42-66-42 DT
BRUNNER quality with a customisable fireplace surround
A system fireplace is installed when atmosphere is the primary requirement. The design, fuel quantity and the associated heat output are matched to this.
System fireplaces are also known as ‘rapid reaction stoves’ due to their heat output. The heat is released during combustion. The heating effect results from the combustion chamber radiation through the large viewing window and the hot air.
There is no simpler or cheaper way to build a fireplace or stove. Precisely dimensioned moulded parts made of thermal concrete enable quick installation. Components and moulds are designed so that the fireplace system can be installed in a minimum of space, taking into account function and safety. Only components used in handcrafted stove construction are offered as a ready-made kit. An original BRUNNER heating insert is installed in all versions.
The panelling is available in different quality levels:
- In the functional version with a thermal concrete casing, untreated and deliberately left in exposed concrete as an architectural element.
- Or a hand-finished surface that is painted, plastered and decorated with ceramic elements.
The cladding elements can also be extended in height. Room-height versions have thermal insulation to the ceiling and on-site hot air outlets. If the system cladding is to be extended structurally, all ideas and concepts can be realised with BRUNNER fireplace construction panels. The distance to the extension wall can be minimised with heat protection plates (accessories) fitted to the fireplace insert.

The BRUNNER “Green” range of wood-burning stoves sets new standards in stove technology by offering a unique, patent-protected, hollow combustion system. This innovation ensures a perfect flame pattern with minimal emissions that are well below all current limits. The “Green” and “Green+” fireplaces from BRUNNER are therefore pioneers in sustainable, environmentally friendly heating technology.
Main features of the BRUNNER “Green” fireplaces:
Patented trough firing: the specially developed combustion chamber geometry is a major innovation. This shape enables efficient and clean combustion, as the primary air flows laterally into the combustion chamber recess and the secondary air is supplied from above as pane scavenging air. The grate and ash box are completely eliminated, which makes maintenance and handling easier.
Clean burning without laboratory conditions: A particularly noteworthy advantage is that BRUNNER fireplaces do not only achieve their low emissions under laboratory conditions. With the right operation and the right fuel, verifiably clean emissions can also be achieved in domestic use. This makes it possible for everyone to heat “green” at home.
Green+ with catalytic converter and combustion control: To achieve the highest quality level, versions with an integrated catalytic converter and intelligent combustion control are available. These ensure even more efficient and environmentally friendly combustion.
Optimized air flow: A front control element can be used to set the optimum ratio of primary and secondary air, which has been determined on the basis of test bench tests. This precise air control helps to optimize combustion and minimize pollutants.
BRUNNER's “Green” technology shows that efficiency, design and environmental awareness can be harmoniously combined. These fireplaces not only offer a visually appealing and powerful fireplace, but also actively contribute to reducing emissions, making them a forward-looking choice for anyone who wants to heat sustainably and responsibly.
