Faber e-MatriX Mood 800/500 I Electric Fireplace
Elektric Fireplace Faber e-MatriX Mood 800/500 I
OPTI-MYST - the electric fire that sets standards - even closer to the element of fire!
Mood lighting - mood - moody atmosphere for every moment
Faber's optional mood lighting brings the flame image of the e-MatriX to a previously unsurpassed level. The newly developed LED light optics of this option create dynamic lighting both under the bed of embers and in the upper area of the fireplace interior. The intensity and dynamics of the light, but also the colors, are largely adjustable. This option creates a much warmer and more natural radiance of the flame pattern and the bed of embers and a sensational fire experience, even without 'flames'. All options are available via the Faber app
simply set it up yourself, to match the atmosphere, your mood or your style. Or decide on one of the pre-programmed settings. An addition that enhances the appearance of your fireplace immensely and that you should not miss out on! Available on all Mood and Linear fireplaces.
The frameless design, the fascinating flame pattern, the wide, lifelike wood decor and the bed of embers (option) of the electric e-MatriX Mood together create a particularly powerful and lush open fire. A future-proof alternative for an authentic log fire, with groundbreaking features:
Truly three dimensional flames, completely safe and energy efficient application with no gas, emissions or chimney. The atmosphere can be adjusted as desired with the Faber app or the remote control. This means that the e-MatriX Mood can be used and allowed practically anywhere.
Enjoy consciously and responsibly!
Real flames: experience the third dimension!
The Opti-myst fire puts an end to the "flat" fire effect of conventional electric fireplaces. Faber has developed a 3-dimensional fire with a smoke effect. Never before has electric fire burned so realistically. You can watch the flames from all sides. Experience electric fireplaces in the third dimension.
Only electricity and water are required
The fire pattern of the e-MatriX is a further development of the patented Opti-myst ® system. Only electricity and water are required for this; (LED) lighting and water misters produce "flames" that are indistinguishable from real fire. The ultra-fine water mist also ensures a balanced moisture balance in your home.
The energy consumption is extremely low. This makes the e-MatriX "burner" environmentally and user-friendly, and because it doesn't generate heat, it's also completely safe. It is advisable to replace the nebulizers (transducers) at least once a year, depending on use.
NOTE: All e-Matrix Series models require connection to a water supply for water supply. Alternatively, there is a pump system from the manufacturer. Please select from the options if required.
Flexible and safe
Electric fireplaces can be placed anywhere you want, plug in and away you go. They are eco-friendly, easy to use and safe for children. An ultra-thin, flexible water pipe is required.

Protective measures/safety instructions during installation of gas fireplaces
The following protective measures and safety instructions must be strictly observed:
- Installation and maintenance of the appliance may only be carried out by a recognized and competent installer in the field of gas heating and electricity.
- No modifications may be made to the appliance.
- Only use the flue gas extraction/combustion air supply system supplied by DRU.
- Procedure for installing a freestanding appliance: place the appliance at the specified minimum distance from the rear wall (see the information later in this text).
- Do not cover the appliance or wrap it in an insulating blanket or other materials. Ensure that there are no flammable objects and/or materials in the radiation area of the appliance. This radiation range is 500 mm, unless otherwise specified.
- Only use the set included in the scope of delivery, for example the wooden block set or the pebble set, and place it exactly as described.
- Leave the space around the ionizing pin and the ignition pin free and never place any incandescent material around these pins.
- Make sure that the gas pipes and connections are clean and free of any impurities. Install a gas tap in accordance with the applicable regulations.
- Check the entire system for gas leaks before commissioning.
- Make sure that the pressure equalization hatch(es) on the top and/or bottom of the appliance are not blocked and check that these hatch(es) are well connected to the sealing surface before installing the appliance.
- Do not ignite the appliance until it has been fully installed in terms of gas technology, exhaust technology and electrical technology; first go through the procedure described in chapter 7.3 of the instructions.
- Do not use the appliance if a pane is broken and/or cracked. The pane must be replaced first.
Procedure for installing a built-in appliance:
- Use fireproof and heat-resistant materials for the fireplace surround, including the top of the fireplace surround and the material inside the fireplace surround, such as the floor under the appliance and the rear wall in front of which the appliance is installed. Both panel materials and stone-like materials can be used for this purpose.
- Take appropriate protective measures to ensure that the wall behind the fireplace surround and the materials or objects located behind the rear wall do not heat up too much.
- Observe the minimum specifications regarding the internal dimensions of the fireplace surround. These have been specified for safety reasons and to avoid extreme heat build-up in the fireplace conversion.
- Ventilate the fireplace conversion using ventilation openings (see instructions). These openings are crucial for safety and to prevent extreme heat build-up in the fireplace conversion.
- The electrical connections must be heat-resistant.
- Position the heat-resistant power connections away from the appliance and as low as possible in the fireplace surround.
- This applies in connection with the temperature development in the fireplace surround.
The appliance is designed to create a cozy atmosphere and to heat. This means that all visible surfaces, including the glass, can become hotter than 100°C. It is recommended to always place a protective grille in front of the appliance if children, the elderly or the physically disabled are in the same room as the appliance. If vulnerable persons may regularly be present in the room without supervision, a fixed screen must be fitted around the appliance.
