✅ Stable, level surface: Place the fireplace on a non-combustible, solid surface (e.g. stone, concrete).
✅ Sufficient distance: Keep at least 1.5-2 metres away from flammable materials (furniture, curtains, plants, wooden walls, etc.).
✅ For outdoor use only: Fireplaces are designed for well-ventilated outdoor areas - do not operate indoors!
✅ Protect from wind: Strong gusts of wind can spread the fire uncontrollably.
2. Handling the gas bottle
✅ Correct storage: The gas cylinder should always be stored upright and well ventilated.
✅ Leak test: Check the gas hoses and connections regularly for leaks using soapy water (bubbles indicate a leak).
✅ Safe connection: Only use approved propane cylinders and connect them securely - no excessive turning or loosening of the valves.
3. Operation & use
✅ Lighting: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions - first open the gas slightly, then ignite the flame.
✅ Do not leave unattended: The fireplace should never be left burning unattended, especially near children or pets.
✅ Do not throw any foreign substances into the fire: Do not add wood, paper, plastic or other materials to the fire - this can lead to dangerous flames or toxic smoke.
✅ After use: Always close the gas supply completely and allow to cool down before fitting the cover.
4. Maintenance & care
✅ Regular cleaning: Keep the burner and ignition device free of dirt and deposits.
✅ Weather protection: Use a suitable protective cover when the fireplace is not in use.
✅ Annual inspection: Check all components regularly for wear or damage.
⚠ Important note:
If you smell gas or suspect a leak: Close the gas supply immediately, do not create any open flames or sparks and ensure adequate ventilation!
