Danger and warning notices for appliances with bioethanol burners
- This appliance must not be left unattended by children or disabled persons.
- Keep small children away from the appliance.
- The design of the appliance must not be modified.
- Only spare parts approved by the manufacturer may be fitted.
- Read the operating instructions carefully before use.
- Only use the intended fuel.
- Absolutely no ignition sources when filling.
- If fuel is spilled outside the burner during filling, do not ignite under any circumstances. First dry up any spilled fuel or remove it from all cracks and cavities and ventilate.
- It is not permitted to fill the appliance during operation or when it is hot. Observe the instructions attached to the appliance and the burner. Temperature below 24° C! Only fill with a filling vessel! Do not fill with a canister!
- Touching hot metal parts can cause burns. Be careful when handling the hot or burning appliance.
- Only operate in ventilated rooms.
- Extinguishing: only with extinguishing cap
- Emergency extinguishing: Fill the burner with water using the filling vessel - never overfill!!! A fire blanket and suitable fire extinguisher are recommended

- Only spare parts approved by the manufacturer may be fitted.
- Read the operating instructions carefully before use.
- Do not place any flammable objects in or on the appliance.
- Never cover the appliance.

Protective measures/safety instructions for installing gas fireplaces
The following protective measures and safety instructions must be strictly observed:
- Installation and maintenance of the appliance may only be carried out by a recognized and competent installer in the field of gas heating and electricity.
- No modifications may be made to the appliance.
- Only use the approved flue gas extraction/combustion air supply system.
- Procedure when installing a free-standing appliance: place the appliance at the specified minimum distance from the rear wall (see information in the instructions).
- Do not cover the appliance or wrap it in an insulating blanket or other materials. Ensure that there are no flammable objects and/or materials in the radiation area of the appliance. This radiation range is 500 mm, unless otherwise specified.
- Only use the set included in the scope of delivery, for example the wooden block set or the pebble set, and place it exactly as described.
- Leave the space around the ionizing pin and the ignition pin free and never place any incandescent material around these pins.
- Make sure that the gas pipes and connections are clean and free of any impurities. Install a gas tap in accordance with the applicable regulations.
- Check the entire system for gas leaks before commissioning.

- Ensure that the pressure equalization hatch(es) at the top and/or bottom of the appliance are not blocked and check that these hatch(es) are well connected to the sealing surface before installing the appliance.
- Do not ignite the appliance until it has been fully installed in terms of gas technology, exhaust technology and electrical technology.
The appliance is designed to create a cozy atmosphere and to heat. This means that all visible surfaces, including the glass, can become hotter than 100°C. It is recommended to always place a protective grille in front of the appliance when children, the elderly or physically disabled persons are in the same room.
