Opti-myst® - Flames of light and water
What sounds like magic is state-of-the-art technology:
Light and the finest mist of water are enough to create a realistic flame pattern - without any real fire.

All Dimplex fireplaces with Opti-myst® technology have an integrated water tank under the ember bed. A transducer (nebuliser) transforms the water into cool mist, which rises through heated air. LEDs or halogen lamps placed behind the tank illuminate the mist, creating a lively, three-dimensional play of flames - deceptively real and visible from all sides, without a dark back wall.

The ‘flames’ dance like real fire, react to draughts of air and even gently surround your hand when you reach in - completely safe and touchable.
